Instant new as seen on tv. Miracle stuff on running boards. Did mine a year ago they still look good.

Just went and watched about 5 of the heat gun how to vids....I am busting out my heat gun as soon as I get home. That is crazy cool.(or hot in this case)

It really works well but it's probably wise to follow up with a matte clear coat that's uv protective

Forever Black is the best I have ever used. It's a dye and won't wash off the first time it rains like most everything else. I put it on my running boards and rear bumper several months ago and they still look great. Search for it on Amazon.
Here's a pic after 1 coat. The 2nd coat made it look much better and smoothed out the blotches.
