Product review - Turtle Wax Lens Restorer Kit - UPDATED WITH PICS

I was going to order all new headlights and turn signal lenses but saw this kit for $9 and thought that since it's made by Turtle Wax it might very well work and if not then I'm out $9...no biggie. I got it at Walmart. It took a little elbow grease and took me about 30 minutes and didn't require any additional tools (like a drill) like some of the other kits do. I give the product 2 thumbs up. It worked great and I'm really impressed with the results. I'll take some pics and post them up tomorrow. It also comes with a sealer that's supposed to prevent any further oxidation. Just incase someone wants to know which kit it is, it's this one.

Oh and don't just take it from me. It has 227 reviews on Amazon and is rated at 4.5 out of 5 stars. I also wanted to add that I've also tried the 3M kit ($15) that comes with a drill attachment on my wife's old car and this one was far easier and worked much better.

Nice I got that same kit for when I had my jeep. I personally was expecting it to work a little better. Recently used it on my DRL and turn signal housings and worked well this time around.

Well it's not going to return them to like brand new. Nothing will. But mine were yellow and you couldn't see through them and they're now much clearer and no more yellow. I'd say they're closer to 85-90% of what they looked like new. Results are dependent on how much you put into it.

Here's the passenger's side almost done. I hadn't touched the driver's side yet

Here are both sides complete. Not bad for $9 and 30 minutes huh?

I used my elbow grease to just change out my front lenses. Went with the clear euro's w/chrome backing, black backing turn signals lenses, and smoked side markers.
I installed the Sylvania Silverstar +'s for the low/high beams.
There is no such thing as darkness when I'm driving @ night now, and that's not even with the high beams on :)

Yeah but I'm sure that cost you a lot more than $9. This thread is about a product that I reviewed that might help someone here. We all know about buying new lights/housings. You didn't offer anything to the thread.
