Yup. Good stuff. That's who we lease our vehicles through.

If they're building the 16s in July, you'd be lucky to take delivery before end of September. That's another 5 months best case and would depend on where your dealer is in the queue.

Don't feel bad must of the 2015i the transmission have to be replace, so you wait for better or you want to deal with this?
[emoji19]

Are you trying to say that "most" of the 2015i transmissions have to be replaced? Before I flat out say that statement is a load of horse pucky, what substantiation can you offer for it?

The GM Plant in Arlington, TX, makes 1203 of these trucks a day. That's a combination of the Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac trucks combined. I'm pretty sure that if over 600 a day of these had to have the transmissions replaced, it would probably be widely known.

So, where did you come up with your information?

I don't want to be combative, but that is an outrageous statement, and if it's true, I'd like to know about it before I pick mine up next week.

That is incorrect information. The 'current' information is approximately 10%.

Would love to know where you get the 10% number and also how to identify the issue in a vehicle. (Beforehand or during)

Do you have an actual source for this, making it up, or did you read it on the internet so it must be true?

Seriously, people, substantiate your claims.

Thanks AR !! So much helpful info available on the web and this forum.

Given those delays, I am feeling this rig with a light interior and exterior (desert living) is out of reach. Few on the lot with dune interior and no new orders arriving until Aug-Sept. Maybe something in the pipeline will show up or I will watch for a 2015i used.

My gripe is all the black interiors. Driving a black truck with black interior in the city in the desert when it is 114 out after it has sat in the sun for a bit is crazy hot.

I'm in Texas, myself, and I'm with you. I ordered mine in White with the Shale (pretty much the same as Dune) interior.

I was in the plant a few days ago and the number of black trucks that they turn out is staggering. I have to assume that a great deal of them are livery vehicles.

So because a few people have had their transmissions replaced, your stance is that over 600 transmissions a day are having to be replaced? I don't buy it. I'm not arguing that there have been zero replaced, but I find your statement outrageous and unbelievable.

Maybe I'm just misunderstanding you, and you're not trying to use the word, "most."
