Looks great! Are you talking about the HD bumper cap? If so, you won't be able to use that cap on a Tahoe bumper.

Oh. I can't use the one that shapes around the hd grille?!? I guess I read incorrect information then

So if that's the case I may just save the money and get A new chrome Silverado grill and paint match it

Grabbed this earlier today of the forum. View attachment 74433 View attachment 74434See the dip in the HD bumper. Different then the Tahoe bumper.

Just incase you weren't aware @Tonyrodz, That's actually a '03-'07 classic GMC Sierra bumper.

@derek1387 An '02 HD bumper cap fits on the stock Tahoe bumper, you'll just need to lower the stock bumper to compensate for the taller cap and grille. Or, use your stock bumper cap and trim a HD grille to fit your stock bumper cap and not have to make any adjustments to your bumper mounts. There are a few guys on here have gone the trimmed grille way.

Ahhh, didn't know that. I just trimmed my grill down.
Yup. Got it.

Isn't the Silverado grill the same as the Tahoe grill? Sorry for giving you some wrong info.

On the HD, they mounted the bumper lower and made the grille taller to get more airflow to the intercooler on the duramax trucks. But the base bumper is the same as the Tahoe/suburban/regular Silverado.

The Tahoe grill is all chrome.

The Silverado is chrome center bar with black plastic everywhere else.

Damn! I never noticed that! I've seen some Silverado's and some nbs police Tahoe's with the flat silver bar going across the front of the grill. But def wasn't a chrome bar.
