Absorbing all these replys....... So, upgrading to an HID w/ new OEM housings ( might as well).... is the best?

NOT projectors .... ( I prefer a stock look )

I got fog / Morimoto HIDs.... haven't installed them yet ... Are Morimoto HID headlights the best?

This is not the best solution if you’re not running a projector lens housing. HID bulbs are designed to scatter light properly with the right cutoffs in a projector lens. So when they’re in a standard reflector lens they’re not going to function right.

I run Morimoto HIDs and have had good experience with them. My retrofit kit came with cheap knock off Chinese branded HIDs. I ended up ordering Morimoto HIDs about a year after the swap. One did burn out prematurely, but I emailed them and they honored the warranty on it and shipped me a replacement and got it to me fairly quickly. Thankfully I had the original knock off HIDs that came in my retrofit kit so I ran those while I waited on the replacement.
