Hey guys, I've been doing some searching, and crutchfield recommends 2 different wire harness adapters between the obs denalis and escalades. Aren't they the same stereo/sound system? Just wanna make sure. I'm skeptical because I pulled out the stereo of my denali and it's got like 3 plugs in it, so I'm leaning towards buying the adapter for the escalade, it's the PAC roem-gm21a bose system retainment interface. Because I'm confident it's not the simple 15 dollar one they recommend for the gmc. Just wanna make sure before I do, otherwise tell me which adapters you guys used in your obs denalis. Maybe the denalis/escalades did use different sound systems from each other?

Alright well for anyone who might come up on this in the future I just went to best buy and they looked it up and it's the PAC LP6-4 line output converter, they had it in stock in their install bay, $50, along with the antenna adapter and the dash kit AND the single big plug harness adapter, I paid $102 for the parts and spent a few hours nicely soldering and heat shrinking all the wires, I guess I only had 2 plugs in the back of the stock bose deck, the extra one is for the stock cd changer, didn't use it. Anyway, I had to bypass the loc for the power and ground wires. It's real simple to figure out when it's in front of you. Another pain is the lack of space behind the deck, I pretty much just crammed everything in there. I'll mess around with it at some other time and get everything nice back there and maybe take some pics if I remember to. I also hooked up my sub and amp, it's also a pain snaking the wires up through the dash to the back of the deck (rcas and remote wire) but I just taped them to a straightened coat hanger and got em up through there.
