I have a 2004 white Denali that looks great from 6-8 feet away. The paint is pretty shiny but has a lot of cracking when you look up close. The cracks show much more when it is dirty. What is the best way to slow the degradation of the old paint? Just wash? Best wax or proc as for the old paint. I don’t expect it to look new but I don’t want to neglect it if there is anything I can do to slow the aging

keep it clean and keep it waxed with real wax not the car wash spray in stuff or wipe on stuff. its good in a pinch when your short on time but it doesn't hold up aa well as a good hand wax. you could also take it to a detailing shop and they could bring a little more pop back for you.
