I don't own a tire machine or else I would've most certainly done it myself. Doubt anyone else here owns one either. Just one of the few things that we have no choice but to let someone else touch our baby

200 bucks on craigslist. I mount all my own stuff unless it comes mounted, say from mr wheel deal or something. Gokart tires right up to truck rims.

I'd hate to be a mechanic in any of your towns.

Impact that shit on. I don't have time to torque 24-40 nuts. Just squeeze until it stops spinning. Never had an issue. That goes for sports cars, dump trucks, and everything in between.

I would love to have garage space for that but unfortunately I do not. Would have itself paid off in a day during tire change over season.
Youre probably fine on your own ride but I promise you wouldn't like seeing a high school kid go full beast mode with the impact gun on your lugs.

I was the highschool kid going beastmode on my lugs until last may. As long as it's seated on the hub you should be fine. Granted I grew up in a commercial shop cranking out trucks for a construction company, but millions of combined miles and no wheel failures I'd say it works.

The tire machine isn't that big, smaller than a bike. It's just a mounting machine. Toss dyna beads in there, seat the bead, fill it up, and go about the day. It's old, real old, but works fine. If you come across a deal for one jump on it. Saves time, maybe money, and is wicked fun to play with.

I'd love to see you install my 26's with your tire machine lol. And although I use Dyna Beads in my 26" front wheel of my Harley they won't work in my Denali's tires. So I'd still be screwed with that machine. There are a few things I let others do, but I also do have a great relationship with my tire guy. Oh, and if anybody wants to hit my Dubs with an impact gun they're going to have to get past me. No ******* way.

Why won't dynabeads work in your tires?

Idk if it will do 26's, but it did 22's and looked like it had room to spare, but maybe not 4 more inches

And there's always the good old fashioned way, the way i did on my 17's to prove it could be done lol

When I take off/put on my wheels, I set my impact gun to minimum torque, and then torque them properly with the torque wrench.
Way faster, and I still get the job done right.
With the minimum setting, I always have to go farther with the torque wrench to get them tight enough.

They're not recommended for that large a diameter and that low of a profile. If they were larger diameter tires they said they would work. I guess there would have to be such a large volume of beads in relation to how much room for air that they don't recommend them. I know the balance weights are considerable.
