What kind of pressure are you guys running in your 22's? The tire shop set mine at 45 and today I lowered them to 38 and they ride and drive quite a bit better. I was just curious what everybody else is running.

Now this is a good question. I've had discount tire drop my tires back to 35psi. I asked but didn't get a real answer. I usually put about 38psi in them. Tire reads 49 psi max.

i run about 38psi on mine and the tire size is 305/45/22 seems to be a nice median between comfort and performance

I recently put 22" rims with 305/40/22 tires on my 07 Tahoe and the dealer explicitly told me not to go over or under the posted PSI regardless of the tires and rims. They have it has 32psi, should I place more air? and why?

Thanks,

hmm... well there is a big debate on whether or not you should go by what the tires say and what the vehicle says... my truck says 35psi i beleave, and the tires say something like 45psi... so i figured 38psi seemed to be good. i have a comfortable ride, the truck dont lean as bad in corners and i havent noticed any uneven wear on my tires...

Well... I went ahead and left them at 38 and all seems well! I pulled my heavy ass boat to the lake with it on sunday and checked the tires when I got there. Nice and warm, not too hot. I say screw it, I am gonna try 38 for a while and then maybe drop back to 36. I still have to get some pressure sensors put in and the wheels rebalanced. Anybody know where to get a great deal on some sensors?
