I would start hitting the bolts with some rust penetrant now, It gives it a while to work in. P.B. blaster is the best stuff i`ve ever used. i always do it and most times it works well.

does the kit come with the gasket need when you clamp it to the cat flange?

I don't quite remember but I'm leaning towards no, I don't remember mine coming with one! Might just have to wait for yours to come before you go out and buy one!
