I apologize if there is threads on this already but I have a 2004 Yukon XL Denali and I have a Viper auto start and Alarm. I purchased a push button start to install, Im wondering having an auto start on there will it mess it up or not. All I know the auto start wires tied into the heavier gauge wires like the starter and other. The push button just deals with the small 18 awg wires and splicing one wire and put a box in between the two wires. The Key needs to be in and turn to the on position for the push button to turn the starter, In order for it to start

I changed the tittle of the thread to the specific situation so others just browsing the new post will see what it's about and not just glance over it.

Honestly what's the point? You just added an extra step to turn on the truck. If the doors unlocked and you were able to get in and start the vehicle without pulling out your keys from your pocket. Then that my friend would be worth it! Oh yeah sorry I can't help you on your ?
