i was amazed at how fast she started after i installed the new starter.

also re painted my rear wiper ( this time it came out nice )

and painted the rear differential cover as well.

looks real nice,

also saw that whoever owned my beautiful beast before me blew the rear shocks and put on monroes.

did you have fun doing the starter? i know when i changed out mine it was a pain and i was on a lift. getting those wires on the bolts. Did you need to add shims> what brand did you go with?

Hey me too. In the pooring rain last weekend, laying in the driveway. good to have a lifted truckwhen it comes to working on the under side.

yea it was a ***** doing on my driveway without a lift. i didnt have a jack, and didnt bother grabbing the one inside the car. went with napa, nothing fancy, everything i buy from them have great life/performance for me. no shims were needed. what sucked was that when i pulled it, there was a ground on it, so i had to put it back and find my quarter drive socket set to get that off, then take it off again.
