I was looking for a place to mount 2 auxillary reverse lights on an 09 Yukon. One of the places I am considering is where I"m guessing the back up camera would be if I had it. It is a small square approx 4 inches to the right of the receiver. Obviously this is only enough space for 1 small light.

The other option I was considering was recessing them into the rear bumper, I'm just not sure how to mount them in the bumper.

Thoughts, concerns, jaded responses?

That's not where the camera is. That's a cover to get to your spare tire. The camera goes just above the license plate

Good to know. Well I can cross that location off the list.

How about flush mounting them into the bumper? Actually mounting them on the trailer hitch and cutting out the fiberglass bumper. They would be flush mounted to the bumper of course.

I hope that fella's driveway was level! :doh2: There's no way that I would hack my bumper cover up to put some lights in it, but to each their own. I bet it would've been a lot easier with a dremel tool or a small die grinder.
