I plan on buying some 20" LTZ rims in Pvd chrome.

Done a little bit of research and they claim to hold up better in all season weather as they won't pit or corrode from road salt.

They also claim to be lighter than chrome plated but can crack easier from a pothole.

I would get chrome but since I plan on using all year around I don't want them to look like shit after a couple winters. I know a guy that had a set in chrome and after a couple years they started pitting but mostly only on the inside of the wheel and not the face. They looked great though.

Does anybody know if Pvd chrome will give the same shine as chrome plated?

Anyone think I should get one over the other?

Also Pvd chrome is about 200 less than chrome plated for the set

Pvd chips and peels off. It's a weak powder coat google it. Almost every wheel has peeled. Get real chrome
