How are the switchback leds wired in your tahoe? I'm assuming its a custom wiring job, are you using the DRL output to activate the whites and then the turn signal output to activate the amber? Also do the amber stay on at night with the headlights or are they always white?

I didn't do the install myself so I'm not sure how they are wired.

The way they work is in daylight when the headlights are off the drls are always on (2 on each side) and switchback to blinkers and hazards. When the parking lights (little side markers) or the headlights are on, the drls are never on and the amber leds are activated for blinkers and hazards.

Does that make sense?

Things are moving faster than expected ...

My quads are off the truck pending modification that is supposed to start taking place in the next few days.

Once it starts there's no going back ... so in case someone's on the fence, it's decision time.

If not, we actually found a way to modify them to achieve what I am missing and want without touching the quad projectors ... but that mod shall remain a secret till it's complete.

Time has run out.

The quads have been off for a week and I'm getting them back Thursday or Friday with an upgrade.

We ended up finding a solution that didn't require a complete rebuild ... I'll share details and pics when I get them back.

So 'sale withdrawn' unless of course someone wants to wow me enough with an offer to let them go.
