so what will the Z71 springs do for me? what key and spacer kit should I use? what could I do for that extra inch in the front?
Z71 springs will stiffen up the rear and add 1/4"-1/2" in height depending on how much sag your stock springs have.
I bought my keys and spacers separate... Mainly because I wasn't sure what I was doing with the rear yet. Any leveling keys will work, I think mine were like $50 shipped. Then bought 1.5" billet aluminum coil spacers.
As far as the extra inch... Torsion bar age and wear play a huge role in how your particular vehicle will respond to the leveling keys. For example; my Yukon has just over 200,000 miles. My driver side adjusting bolt is turned in 1/4" more than the passenger side to achieve level in the front. That's just the way my bars wore.
