Question about Grill Paint & How Does It Look??

I was wondering if there is stock silver spray paint that i can paint the front chrome grill with? Like the z71 models. My car is the silver not puter color. would that look good?

Also thinking about painting the rear bumper black?

Find your paint code inside your glove box and go to the nearest Advanced auto parts or the like. They should carry duplicor paint that matches the paint code. I used that, some Duplicolor adhesion promoter, and Duplicolor clear to do my grill...Obviously the clear isn't as thick and pretty but it looks good. I get compliments constantly from people who saw the before and after...no one else knows any better.

I think any would make that grill look better. Just use a good adhesive promoter then paint and clear and it will hold up good, just be sure to clean grill off so no oil or dirty remains

Yea I would think so, I love how my Z71 is color matched. I think thats how they all should have came

Yeah, i just don't like all the chrome and think it would look alot better black or color matched

What is the proper process to paint?
its chrome so what sandpaper is good? or should i just paint over it?

and is there some type of clear cote i need?
