I currently own a 1999 Tahoe LS and I need to replace both of the front headrests. While I'm having a time finding 99 headrests, I was wondering if anyone knew what other model year(s) headrests might fit my 99.

Obviously, if I can find another year that would be compatible I'll buy those.

Thx,

OPS

Oh, I don't care about material, just the color, and you have grey, which is what I'm looking for if they aren't too expensive.

BTW, sorry for the delay in responding, I'm new to this forum and most of my other forums send me an email when someone posts to a thread I've created. I must have missed an account config. option.

Thx for taking the time to respond and let me know what you're asking for them.

Adam, thank you for the greeting. I found some on eBay and they are asking $35 per headrest, plus $15 shipping. In a senior moment I made an offer of $30, so I'm waiting to see if they accept it or not, since an offer is binding if the seller agrees to the price. However, in reality I would be just as pleased with the ones you have. I'll get back to you after they respond, as I don't believe they will accept the offer. I would like to offer you $30 a piece plus shipping if the offer is rejected. Of course everyone has a different idea of what something is worth, to them at least, so think about it.

On another note; do you happen to have a pair of armrests for front bucket seats that might fit a 99 Tahoe?? I would also be interested in a pair of armrests, as mine are totally shot. Again, I don't care about the material since I'm gong to re-cover them anyway.

Thx!

L...

Sorry for the wait my friend, however, I had an acceptance of my offer waiting for me this morning. Apparently, $30 was a good price in their eyes... Sorry.

I have a question for you though; I found some armrests and the salvage shop wants $100 for the pair, shipped. Is that a reasonable price?? I don't have anything to compare it to since I'm having a devil of a time finding armrests. I can only assume that since they are hard to come by this is a fairly reasonable price.

id keep looking around, craigslist is usually a good place to shop around in the local area. How were you going to get them recovered in the first place??
