So i have an odd problem.. dont know if anyone else has experienced this at one point.. When im driving down the high way and i start picking up the speed close to 75mph or 80mph, My truck would start shacking really bad for from about 80-85mph and then after that, it would smooth out.. DOes anyone have experienced this problem and might know what could be causing it? Could it be my suspension/Rear leaf springs, need bushing bearings or anything? really wants to know so i can fix it.. and it only happens when im around that high speed...

I'm pretty sure I have the same issue, at 80 it shakes, but its smooth as glass at 82. Is yours a up and down shaking, or side to side? I just kinda use got used to it, it isn't that bad yet...

Its UP and down but like its worse on certain pavement roads.. I just want to fix the problem cause i hate it.. Specially when im doing a long distance driving.. So should i go get my tires rotated and also, Its not from the suspension correct? Now, What is the steering linkage problem? Usually when i hit 80 into 85, it does it.. Then when i apply the prake, it shakes a bit more slowing down back into the 70s MPH.. I just want a smooth ride... Now im going to Fort Worth tx to get my tune, Would u think they can find out where exactly the problem could be while getting my tune?

Another question, When stepping on the gas peddle, a clicking sound starts going off.. it sounds as if coming from inside the gauge cluster.. I took the belt off and i notice that one of the pulleys is a bit lose on the right hand side of the engine as u look at the engine.. It seems like its a rod where the valves go that could be loose or when the engine went in, they didnt tighten that up well.. The engine has 15k on it and i got it with 3 years warranty unlimited miles...

Thanks for the help.. as soon as all my mods are done, ill post some pics up of the rig...

Sound more inline with tire balancing now with your description. if the steering wheel shakes the steering linkage like pitman or idler arm can be the problem sometimes. any good shop can put it on a rack and check for loose steering parts or warped rotors.

Could you clarify second question with pics perhaps.

The pulley that is under the A/C pulley is the one im talking about.. I removed the belt since the clicking noice sounded it was coming from one of the pulleys and i wiggled that that pulley thats under the A/C pulley and their was a bit movement as if it was loose or didnt get tighten up well when the new engine went in... So everytime i press the gas peddle, i hear that clicking sound.. whn i let go, it stops... Could it be that some valve is lose or something in there?

That would be power steering pump then. That is what is blow the a/c. so maybe your pump assembly is loose but just in case it is not there just happens to be a TSB about clicking noise from that area. What a coincidence yeah? here it is print it out if you want to keep it. perhaps it applies to your problem.

Easily done your self. I would think you should be able to see the pulley hub and pump shaft directly in line of sight. It would be a better view if the upper fan shroud was removed for inspection. That is what 6 bolts.
