So i just finished replacing my catalytic converters with magnaflows and i pulled out my old headers thinking their was a problem with them leaking... but came to find out that the left side was loose... anyways, i installed everything back on it and notice that my truck idling bad and my check engine light came on.. then i notice a white smoke coming out of like around the pipes where the cats are connected to the headers... I did spray down the bolts with W-40 and put some grease around them so they could go in easier.. Has anyone has had this happen to them? What could the problem be since it wasnt like this before i started doing all this?
-i removed spark plugs, K&N filter, oil rod, and disconnected the sensor thats on the left side above the headers and i accidentally unscrewed it thinking it was like a dif. sensor and Anti-Freeze spilled out a good quart or 2...

Does anyone think that the idle problem could have came from me accidentally letting antifreeze leaked into my exhaust ports which may be causing that white smoke? if so, What should i do? I did turn it on last night for about 5-10 mins but didnt drive it around.. Do yall think if changing out the oil would fix it and then doing it again a day later? I Just want to know What i can do before doing further damage cause i think it was most likely that the antifreeze might have gotten inside through exhaust ports... if so, What could i do before further damage done...? And truck is not heating up at all...

Check the antifreeze level, 2 quarts low isn't too bad ... if it got into the engine it might cause some issues but if the engine ran after then you are more then likely OK by now. That stuff dries out pretty quick ... loose headers is common, I have to retighten mine about once every 6 months. Check all the plug wires and that temp sensor wire make sure they are all tight and connected right ...

Yea.. Thats wat i will do.. Im going to check the MAF sensor and clean it out in case some of that K&N Oil cleaner or what ever that is go in there... Also to be in safe side will drain out the oil in there just in case and put new oil and run it for a bit and then flush it all out again and put brand new oil and filter in there again just t be in the safe side.. ANd maybe do a complete Tune Up...

But What it does is when i turned it on, it idles a bit when i step on gas and then smooths out... so will check the codes tomorrow morning..
