I just picked up a 15' Tahoe LT with the HD tow package and Z85 rear leveling air suspension. The shocks are shot all around, so I need to replace them. I had the Fox coilovers and rears on my 15' Silverado and they were great. Can i use the same setup on this truck without issue? What do people usually do for rear shock replacement with the air shocks that don't want to pay top $$$ for OEM stuff?

Thanks in advance.

Arnott doesn't make any products for 15'+ model year GM trucks. Anyone? Someone has to have replaced the stock rear air leveling shocks with something aftermarket.....

can't speak of rear air shock replacement but I did front and back Bilstein 5100 and I am very happy.
Initially just to lift the nose up but really improved the quality of the ride over the stock which felt shot at 60k miles.
I would contact them directly and ask about your particular application.

Yeah I contacted them directly and they verified they don not supply suspension for 15'+ model years. I think I'll just get the OEMs out back and the Fox 2.0s up front.

How many miles were on your originals? Did the new OEM's help? I have '15 Yukon with the same suspension....rides like a wagon. Very harsh.

Yeah for sure. Mine had about 40k factory miles when I replaced the fronts with Foxs and the rears with replacement OEMs. Rides a thousand times better. Not sure what the average lifespan is on those factory shocks, but mine must have been shot because the difference was noticeable.

Thanks for replying. I'm moving forward with new shocks all the way around. I'll look into Fox shocks now. I will report back once they've been replaced. Cheers
