I replaced my stock fronts with the Arnott units that come with a resistor so you dont trigger a warning light. I've noticed no ride difference-still rides great. I replaced my rears along with a compressor also from Arnott-I bought the re-manufactured OEM ones because they were plug and play. I also tow and like the auto level feature. It is true that the autoride as a whole can be problematic but when that time comes I will probably just replace the entire system with a passive one w resistors. But in the meantime-no complaints.....

When I bought mine, it had factory shocks front and rear, with auto damping however the rears had blown airbags and the autiride fuses were pulled. I don't know how it rode stock with the entire system working. I replaced everything with the Arnott system including compressor and passive front shocks and rear air shocks ( without damping). It rides and corners great. I'm running with a 2/3 drop with 26" rims and I'm very happy. I love the leveling for towing.

Appreciate the feedback guys. Ive read that the dampening gives a more comfortable ride on rough roads and what not. I have always felt like this denali rode to soft. Don't care for a floaty ride. If these non dampening shocks tighten things up them i think ill be happier in the long run. Any more opinions would be appreciated

So I got the shocks replaced today. I took the compressor off in the box and actually took it to work and swapped it out in my free time. Pretty straight forward but still a little pain. The top shock bolts sucked trying to get out, more so getting back in with the limited space for your hand. . I kept having grease chunks fall on me which was fun. YouTube is your friend. Lots of good tips for making it go smoother. My dash light is finally off after a year. Now I just gotta get new tire pressure monitor sensors. $60 on eBay for all four. Discount tire wants $60 a piece plus install.
