I have been having a complete neck snapping head ache. I have a 2004 Yukon Xl Denali. I tried everything with Alright I want to change the rear shocks to a regular pair of shock absorbers instead of the air absorber's but I need to have that error off of my dashboard. I read there is a way of jumping with a wire from one point to another point that goes the out the connector clears the Code with a certain size of resistors to jump out between the two connectors on the electrical connector that you put a resistor in between two points. Please help Thank you. God Bless

There is a circuit in the fuse box under the dash that disables the autoride system and eliminates the message. You have to pull the fuse and disconnect your battery to reset the system.

Pulling the rtd fuse will make your steering very sloppy BTW

:grumpycat:

You need to remove the ground from your battery. Pull the wires off the top of your front shocks, pull the RTD fuse from the front fuse block, replace all 4 shocks with standard shocks, and then put the ground back on your battery

It works, drives fine. Here's my 04 Esky slammed and thats how I removed the air ride

I pulled my rtd fuse so my steering would be better if I installed the resistors and reinstall the rtd fuse? Curious I didn't know it had a basic steering assist?
Thanks for any advice
Billy. :help:

I decided to repair the Air Ride

I bought a replacement Air Ride compressor, unhooked the negative from the battery. Then I pulled the old one rebuilt the moisture absorber and put it back in and it ran great, the compressor kicks on for 10 seconds upon start up. Problem solved. Thanks guys. The replacement shocks and springs were to high for my price range so I prayed this worked because if not I would have done the full replacement. Take Care
