As the title reads no crank
So about 2 weeks ago my son pulled up to the pump shut it off got gas and then called of course at midnight
Dad it won't click or start or nothing
Full gauge panel lit up headlights ect
Next day I get tjere check usual suspects in fuse box under hood nothing blown swap relay nothing try to jump relay to starter nothing ... call rollback he throws jumpbox on battery for ***** and giggles and nothing
Get it home pull starter had tested at Advance bad starter take it to a reputable auto electric shop tested bad solenoid
Run to parts store 200$ later brand new starter bought installed and same nada no sound no nothing
Battery has been on trickle charge throughout the entire time super lost on where to turn attention to next original starter also and unit has 305k on her
New pcm was installed @277k which fixed the oddball die at idol and not start
Any help on where to turn next would be swell thanks in advance from snowy ohio

Still nothing jumping starter relay?
Have been hearing about bad fuseboxes lately...
Might test for power & ground at the relay socket..

so that tells you the issue is power/ground to the starter, no reason to backtrack, it's going to be between the (battery-starter-relay)
test for polarity between relay and solenoid

if the old starter was bad it could have had resistance and melted/burnt the wiring in the process of going bad, might want to pull the fuse box up and check the leg connections for the relay and see if anything looks burnt.
you can try jumping the starter also just to confirm it is working and/or has sufficient power, sometimes the cables on these trucks corrode from the inside and look fine on the outside, so perhaps try a ohm test on the starter cable and grounds.
a drop test is the correct way but kinda hard to do if the relay isnt kicking it over.
