So when the lights come on automatically I have no control over if they are on or off. Is this normal? If its night they are on no matter what the setting is on the dash. Pretty much a useless switch there. Here is the issue I go out and fish and sometimes we have our lights parking lights on without the headlights so others can see us down the road, location wise is there a mod that I can do to allow just the parking lights to come on after it gets dark. Kind of off is still auto, parking only parking, and on is still on.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

I believe you have to turn the knob to off a couple times till the headlights turn off then turn it back to park to have only park lamps on.

Press the some override switch 4 times and it will disable the auto light feature. Sad part is that u have to do that every time u start up the car again. There's a mod to completely disable the auto light feature altogether.

Awesome I will do that tonight. I just need it disabled when we are fishing, it's nice to have when I am just driving regularly.

You can hold it on the 'off' position when starting your vehicle and they won't come on. I have to do this any time we go to the drive-in to watch a movie.

Like stated above, press the dome override button 4 time within 5 seconds. You should hear the door chime letting you know the auto lights are disabled. Then you can control the lights with the switch until you turn the truck off.

Just tried it. Sweet it works. Mine you only have to push twice to get it to go off and 2 more times it goes back on.
