Hey guys...I am replacing the front brakes, and want to bleed the lines while I am at it. I am looking at SS lines here: http://www.jcwhitney.com/russell-oe-replacement-brake-line/p3069055.jcwx?filterid=d334y1999j1#
Are those the correct ones? Anything else I would need to replace?
Also...should I use synthetic brake fluid such as Valvoline DOT3 & 4? What is recommended for these Tahoe's? I read about ATE Blue, but unsure.
Thanks for the advice on this. I really appreciate it.

those will replace the two rubber lines in front and the one in the rear. And use plain Dot 3 fluid.

Thanks for the advice...on both!
I will stick with the plain DOT3 fluid...but do I need anything else to replace the lines, or will that kit do it?

So the model number 672340 seen here at Summit for the RWD work with the 4X4's?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/R...r|1999|Make|CHEVROLET|Model|TAHOE&prefilter=1

pretty sure you need one that says its for the 4x4 Tahoe, when I got mine i got them off autoanything cause they were on sale at the time and cheaper there and when you select them you have to choose for RWD or 4x4 I am assuming there is some difference between the two then, but you will like them its a definite upgrade I am sure you know how ****** the brakes on these trucks are it makes the brake pedal a lil more firm I noticed it the first time i drove it

95-99 K1500 Tahoe/Yukon (Non-Diesel) aka 4wd Front: Disc Rear: Drum Hoses: 3 #672400

So.... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-672400/ Just $5 more.

Thanks for the help...but it says 1992-1998...no 1999. Does that matter?
BTW...what is my rear drum size...a 10" or 11"?
Thanks again for the help.

unknown at this time.
I really don't want to explain again over and over why 1999 vehicles don't show up in application guides. In short it has to do with model makeover years. But Edelbrock which owns Russell says # 672400.

2dr's have 10 inch drums

4dr's have 11 inch drums.
