I watched a YouTube video where a guy recommends moving the ground that is on the backside of the engine to a chassis ground. Curious if this is okay, and if there is any concern with extending it and moving it? Thanks!

Did he give an explanation as what benefit it has?

Can you post a link to the video?

For easier access to clean, replace etc. I'll try and find the video, I feel like I have seen two people recommend this on the internet (both Youtube I believe).

After watching the video, the only benefit that I got out of it is the guy was just too lazy to properly fix the ground wire and put it back because the bolt was hard to get too. Lots of things are hard to get to on these rigs and it’s not like you access that connection on monthly basis. Clean it once and probably won’t need to touch it again for a few years.
