Fluid change is one of the easiest maintenance items. Buy a Motive brake bleeder, they make adapters for most all vehicles, allows for 1 person bleeding and its a tool that you can use on any vehicle and pay for itself in its first use.

Very appreciated for your reply. Have you taken the wheels off to do the flush?

I change the brake fluid when rotating tires (not every time, but when required), so the tires and wheels are off. Makes it easier to reach and loosen the bleeder screws.

How much fluid is needed for a change? Would one bottle (12 oz?) do it? Or does it take more?

not sure on these trucks, but i went through most of the largest bottle at the parts store. 32 oz. might just use it all.

I think 2-1/2 qts. I always get some extra so I didn’t run out and could flush until clean fluid came out... (I got 5 bottles of Motul, but I think it is 200mL?)
