Questions about Dome light and Lock issues

So a few of my friends have Suburbans/Tahoes and I was wondering why my locks dont lock/unlock automatically and if i leave my interior lights they dont shut off by their self is there some way to toggle this on or something what am I missing

Our years of trucks don't have body control modules that do those kind of things. There are add-on modules or alarms that are sophisticated enough that can once installed be programmed to do these for you.
