Well guys, I have split feelings as I write this post this morning. I truly enjoyed the time I had in the RST. Smiles per gallon were an everytime occurance with the 6.2. My 2020 had reached 107k miles, (I feel you thinking about this already), BUT, I had zero warranty after 100K and it had developed an oil pan leak and the trans was sure to give up in the next few months. If I were 30 years younger with the time to tackle the issues, I would have kept it. Or if I had been able to purchase this from my regular dealer, it would have had a lifetime powertrain warranty which would have covered both.

So......I am now enjoying my trips in a 2021 XT6 Sport edition. Loaded with many toys and soon to have a slight HP increase via tune. Probably OTC box version for around $100 unless someone changes my mind. I will still be active here and will be offering a few K2xx items for sale in a few days.

If your worried about having a warranty then reconsider tuning your new ride. First thing GM does on warranty is download your ECU.

I’m not worried about the warranty or GM. I’m friends with the service manager and I purchased their version of extended warranty that is not GM. It has been totally fine on the vehicles I have purchased there already.
