Hey, I recently got a 1999 Tahoe 4x4 and the stock wheels are ugly and its way too low to the ground, ha hah.

Well I decided on the ATX Mojave wheels, the 17in ones.
Im most likely going to get the 2in lift kit from tuff country and new shocks-

If I just got the 2in lift and the 17in Mojave rims, what size tires would fit and not rub?

I was also thinking about maybe getting a 3in body lift, but im unsure if I want to deal with the bumper gap. But if I did decide to do the 2in suspension lift and 3in body lift what size tire would be good?

Also will I need wheel spacers?

Thanks a ton guys!

3 inch body lift would give you the ability to put on 33's, with the 2in suspention added to that, you could fit 35's

Please do not buy a 2" lift. Just crank your stock keys and add a block or AAL. Then a body lift if you want to be taller and a 33x12.5 should fit nicely.

I always thought cranking the stock keys wasent the best way to do it?

So with just the 2in of suspension lift I should be fine with what size tires?
Will 285/70R17 fit with just a 2in lift? Or will they rub.
I do want to still be able to tow as well, so I want to have a lil extra room to squat.

adding after market keys is the same thing. cranking keys is cranking keys. The best way to lift is get a true differential drop, de-crank until the CVS lay flat.

The 285/70-17 will fit with a crank. You may need to add a block or AAL out back for the towing though

Alright, thanks! Ill start seeing who has the wheels/tires cheapest then and just get a AAL for the back. Would they still fit in the stock spare tire location?

Ok, I never owned a truck with the tire under it. I can't give an honest answer to that.
