Just A simple question… I think…..
96 Tahoe, and I am working on getting the AC going. When the AC is on, the air only blows at the foot well, and does not blow out of the dash vents no matter where the selector is set. Air WILL come out of the dash vents when AC is off…. But return to the foot well when the AC button is pressed. So I don’t believe that it is a blend door issue. Could it be a possible HVAC control unit issue that will not allow the vents to be used in AC mode? Or is this how the HVAC system works…. That just doesn’t seem right to me…….
