Quick audio help!!!!

Well there's a car show in the morning that I'm going to and enter into an audio competition, and all of sudden I just ran into a problem with my system of course


Here's the thing, my BTL is sounding like I have my bass knob all the way up all the time. I can't control how loud it is, I've turned it down on the bass knob, the headunit, the amp, and even unplugged the bass knob completely. All these things helped a very little to turn it down. I'm out of ideas, I have no clue what could have lead to this problem. It worked fine early today and after I got exhaust done. Anyone no what could do this? Im lost. Thanks for help.

Hmmm that's interesting. Don't you just love car audio? lol

I don't know shit about the stuff but if you get it fixed let us know how well you did in the competition and the subs you went up against.

It's so stupid, I have this installed since Feb. 15th and been running fine ever since.. I didn't even really bump today, cause of the new muffler lol. But now when the volume is one 1, you can barely hear the highs/mids over the bass. Hopefully someone at the the show can help me out. But at least its working so I'll get to see my numbers at the competition . I'll take plenty pics and vids and post em up for all to see.

if its turned down from the hu and the amp, theres nothing more you can do. thats feeding it the least power and still banging. thats fi for you

Well just got back from day 1, I hit 143.9 dbs and tomorrow they give out trophies and what not. But idk if any of you know him but Jonathan Price was there! (youtube him). He's 4 18s and I think the highest he got out there was 155. something. I'll post some pics tomorrow

I don't think I seen anyone higher then that. The most i seen was 147, but I spent most of the time watching the burnout contest, and walking around.

Ha yeah that burnout contest is something! Me and my friend were watchin the audio stuff, then all of a sudden we see this great big smoke cloud and we went over there. It was sooo much smoke, I think it was some chevelle or somethin.

I think it was a red chevelle. A drag car. It was the 2nd car. He had 900 hp. No one had a chance after he went, at least I hope he wins. He blew one tire and they aren't cheap.
