cheaper lmao Not for the price and mileage I got my truck for....This isn't a must have, its a something I would like to have... My truck is equipped with almost every option an LT has and has a lot more than the basic ass LS's had that the dealer was finding for me I have zero regret about the Tahoe I bought I love it...Who on here buys one of these trucks 100% the way they like it and never does anything to it lol

In terms of packages, options, color combo, etc. I think most people do that when buying a specific car/truck...

I'd never buy a vehicle that didn't have what I wanted installed from the factory.

I just bought the DIC switch and plugged it in to my Tahoe, works flawlessly :)

However as my native language is not english I'm having difficulties tracking down the dash replacement part I need to make it look factory. I looked into customizing the original part, but as far as I can see it will not be possible due to the offset needed to make the buttons flush to the cover.

Anyone know?

When I removed the dash trim, the connector was already there, fully functional. It was in a placeholder bracket at the back of the actual trim so I just loosened it and connected it to the switch.

If your Tahoe did not originally come with a DIC switch I recommend you to find one of the same year that did, and submit the VIN number of that car to an auto part dealer / gmpartsdirect.com - they will help you find the part you need.

Also remember that you will need to replace the trim plate on your dash, unless you are a very crafty person who can modify the plastic trim yourself :)

So I just took the DIC buttons out my friends 12' suburban and plugged it into my harness and it worked!
