Quick question about rear wiper...

Newbie here. 2010 Tahoe LTZ. I have a question regarding the rear wiper operation. On the stalk, there are 3 positions for the rear wiper...OFF, DELAY and ON. My question is, in the "ON" position, should the rear wiper continually operate without a delay? On my 2010, the "delay" and "on" positions operate exactly the same, with a delay. I asked my service rep on my last oil change and he couldn't answer the question. He told me to "check the owner's manual". Thanks for the help.

its always on a delay, you have off and the second one is a little longer delay and the 3rd position is a little faster delay. Try it out and you will see but it never stays on continuously
