I have a 99 tahoe (lowered {don't know how low} and with a welded in rollpan).

I bought the truck like this and I wanted to know if i qould put the hitch set up on it still. Here are my concerns:

Would the rollpan interfere with the hitch (clearance wise)

and

With my truck being lowered, would the hitch line up to campers and trailers and stuff?

Thanx in advance for any and all help

here is my truck, maybe you guys will know how low it is and or if it will work...

It should clear with out hitting the pan. As for the height of it you can make that up with the ball hitch. for example a 3" drop hitch turned upside doen may give you 1" raise and so on. Most places that sell hitches show the raise or drop of them

I doubt the pan sits lower than the bumper did...I can not honestly say though. Get your hands on one and hold it in place to check, shouldn't take but a second to determine if it clears. good luck

TahoeJim Yeah , i can afford a new one. But I just saw that deal and figured I could sand it, prime it, and paint it the same as my truck, since i had paint left over. I do like the way that tucks in more though.

Bowtiefreak- This may be a very dumb question but where does it bolt to? the frame correct? I have never installed one.
