Has anyone changed out a radiator on a 5.7L? If so, how long did it take? and does it require "special" tools?

It's not a hard job, just make sure you drain tyne system before removing the rad, makes it a LOT less messier.

Buy the Correct crows foot wrench for the trans cooler and possibly power steering cooler lines. Or risk stripping the cheap pot metal ends..

Torque load the wrench with one hand then give it a good hit with other hand to break them loose.
If you use the gradual applie of pressure, even with the crows foot wrench they have been known to strip out.

I have changed two. It's very doable with common tools. I usually service/replace related items when I do it. Hoses, thermostat, water pump and accessory drive belt.
