Radio compatibility

Hey guys,
I have an 06 non-bose radio system in my hoe. Will a bose radio and speakers from an 04 work in my truck?

Why do you want to add Bose? It's not very good. I have it now. You're better off buying an aftermarket set up with a small amp. For a comparable price, it will sound better.

For one, all the lights are burned out on mine. And two, he's selling the four door speakers and radio for $75.

Oh and two of my speakers are blown.

You will need the amp as well I think, so Im not sure if you will have the right connections to hook it up, I could be completely wrong so dont hold me to this. Also the amp is located under the center console so maybe check there to see if you already have an amp. Also the bose system has the tweeters and the speakers by the lift gate.

It's my understanding the Bose system, either the amp or speakers or both, have an atypical ohm configuration so you need to match the speakers with a Bose amp. I still think you're better off going with an aftermarket set. If you're buying used, you can find stuff for under $100 no problem and I'm sure they will sound better. I'm telling you, I have the Bose system and it's nothing to write home about. I'm going to rip it out as soon as I get the funds to put in decent speakers in its place.
