Ok so this afternoon I put a new CD I burned into my Bose 6-Disc OEM Headunit. I hadn't used it in a really, really long time, but anyways...

Well so I listen to the disc and decide I want to take it out, but when I push eject, the disc logo flashes and the red light flashes. So I wait and give it time. Nothing. Try to switch to CD mode with the CD/AUX button. Nothing. A Blank screen...

So I got the bright idea to pull the fuse just for the hell of it, and now the thing said it was initializing, but still no cigar. Better yet, it says there's no CD's loaded in it and it won't let me load more. Any way to force eject or to reset the damn thing?

Thanks!

I had a mustang that did this too me. I had to pull the unit out and get the disc out that way. I reinstalled everything after I was done and it worked fine for the rest of the time I owned it. Can you see the disc any??? Try and see if you can get something flat to slde in there and see if you can feel it right there if so you might be able to get it unstuck then try and eject it again. If you are not comfortable doing this take it to a local radio shot.

Might try pulling the battery. I have noticed that after i reconnected it my 6 disc head unit cycled through all 6 to see where there was discs.

I got it looked at and the plastic piece inside of it that ejects and takes in discs broke off inside of it. Battery was disconnected, etc. No go.

So now I'm looking at new receivers...
