Anyone have problems with radio stations? I can only pick up 2 clear stations. My truck has the 3 inch mini antenna and might be the culprit but not sure. I don't have the stock one to test that theory. I love in an area where at least a dozen stations pick up in my buddies 05 and my wife's van but I only get 2 sometimes 3

I have the stock antenna, and I have no trouble getting stations.

If you don't like the long antenna, take a look at the hidden antenna mod thread and try the one where you run a length of wire up the a pillar. It's cheap to try and will probably get you more stations.

Do you have a link for that thread? I had the esky cowl piece/antenna delete, but put my antenna back because reception was almost non existent.

This is the thread, and this post is the one I was talking about.

Some people think it works better (running the wire up the a-pillar) than stock.

I need to try it myself.

I have a solid #10 wire up my pillar and all the way back to the end of the rear passenger door under the weatherstripping. Never even know it's there. My FM is perfect, and AM is there for the most part, but not nearly as good as a vertical open air antenna.

Yea I tried the wire up the a pillar and it's a tad better not much. I'm going to try heavier gauge wire or wire coat hanger
