Anyone used it?

My shocks need to be replaced all the way around and I'm thinking of getting using the Quicklift system from Rancho. It claims 2.5" of lift in the front which will just level it out, then add their shocks in the rear. They claim up to 35" tires using just the OEM coils. I'm never going to do any serious offroading but I'd like to go up to 17" wheels and maybe like a 285 BFG tire and since I have to replace the shocks......what the heck.

hehe...there aren't any coils on your truck. You can fit 285's on a 17" rim easily with just a crank and some small blocks to level it out. It's what I'm running on mine, the front is cranked 2" and I'm going to throw some 2" blocks out back soon.

The good news is all you need is an 18mm socket to crank 'em.

^^^ what they said, small crank 1-2" then a 1-2" block. Total cost is under $100 with the alignment...yes you need an alingment. I used to run a 33 on no crank at all.

My abs kicks in whenever i brake during a drop. The shocks top out and the tires come off the ground a tiny bit. Its a big pain.
