Random hard shifting

Overdrive issues? Thats TQ lockup, sounds like a bad one to me too...

So I dropped my Yukon off this morning at a transmission shop to get fixed. So far all I know is theres a code being thrown for a bad torque converter and the trans fluid is burned up. Now the trans is being taken out and apart to see what all the damage is. This is gonna be fun for my wallet...

any updates , im having very similar problems ......... the code i throw i think was a 1860 if i remember correctly.....

the 1860 means the electric circuit for the pulse width modulation solenoid of the converter clutch is either shorted or open. try cleaning the tranny connector or maybe replace the solenoid.

Yea, they ended up rebuilding it.
