You've probably got a vacuum leak. Make sure the dipstick is pushed all the way down, there's an o-ring that seals. Same for the oil filler cap. Check your PCV hoses to the intake. I find that a spray can of brake cleaner works great in finding where there's a vacuum leak, such as the intake manifold and gasket. Just be careful, it's flammable. Some people use WD-40, a little safer.

.... It should be on the driver side of the engine though, if that helps. (The letter A signifies Bank 1 which is the driver side) As there's no code for the passenger side, I would suspect the intake manifold gasket or an injector o-ring on the driver side.

After going through that supplied link for the DTC and reading it, I’m kinda spooked about purchasing a counterfeit part that’d send me on a wild goose chase.

The disturbing thing is that what was OEM eight years ago, may not be the same OEM they sell you today. For some items, production has been moved to other countries, including China. Even though it's still an AC Delco part.... You have to wonder if it's really identical to the original in every aspect. Look at the country of origin on the below AC Delco package... I assume this item is being made in one of those countries, or maybe two or three or all of them... And it's not a generic package with that hologram. I'll bet 10 years ago they had one supplier for AC Delco, probably in Canada or Mexico. So yeah, unnerving to think about.

So technically it's not counterfeit. But... They are presenting something that is not OEM from 2014.

Yes..... I used Denso 234-4668 for upstream and Denso 234-4256 for downstream and I'm wondering if that may be the issue. This code is so "Random" i just don't know. I usually use only OEM parts but they were not available from RA when I bought the Denso's.

I had to get mine from AutoZone and ordered 8 new OEM injectors too. Never had a poor experience w/ AZ until that transaction.

Their call center pointed fingers at FedEx who never got the package but verified they made the shipping label. Ultimately they sent me 16 injectors and were just nasty to work with.

I kept the first 8 and returned the other 8 back to their local store. It was funny to unexpectedly get the last laugh but I would have been happier just paying AZ to get what I originally paid for weeks ago.

funny how there's literally only 3 parts in that bag and made in 6 countries listed lol.
