So I put her through her paces today ... nothing high speed, just a kidney busting 12 miles of unmovable rocks that took about an hour to complete. It’s called Schnebly Rd, and starts at around 7000ft off of 17 south of Flagstaff and drops into Sedona from the east. Some of the most beautiful views you will ever see. Although not really her optimal environment, she handled the whole thing like a champ and without any issue, be it the mud ruts and forest environment at the top to the difficult terrain nearer the bottom. Not a hard trail by any means, just a very uncomfortable one.

A few pics from today ... and yes I know, I’m a princess that needs his truck washed after a little mud. :) Although from what I gather that red clay cakes in like cement, so I just thought it wise to get it off.

Some pics and vids from my Jerome to Williams excursion through Perkinsville.

This is just outside Jerome, at the top of the Mingus mountain range, looking down onto the entire Verde valley and all the way to the Flagstaff mountains.

Then moderate speeding it through the forest roads to Perkinsville:

Finally onto the alpine topography of Perkinsville Rd to Williams:

It was a good day. :)

Awesome. Some of my favorite country and where I feel the most at home. Just be careful you don't put an elk shaped dent in the front end of that beast once you're into the trees!
