I didn't describe it right but when I'm going very slow you can hear it while going down the road then stops at higher speeds. Bearings?? Also I hear a clanging noise while going over bumps.

How about knocking noises coming from wheel area? CV? Half shaft? Ball joint?

if when steering wheel is turned and vehicle moving then definitely cv joints. clanging over bumps could be bj's, sway bar bushings or t=bat isolators. Wheels bearing hub would be one of the things to look at but later down the list perhaps.

Nothing while steering just going over bumps. There's also a higher pitched clanging also that just started. Nothing like tracking down noises on a 20 yr old truck lol.

if driving say 40 or more and you hear bearing like sounds when yanking or steering the wheel then that is a wheel bearing hub.

Yeah. Nothing like that. There are now three very distinct noises. One is more of a thumping knocking noise like something is loose coming from the drivers side wheel when going over bumps. Another is a rasping noise like sh sh sh sh when starting to drive off then goes away at higher speeds and then there's a clanking noise that sounds like it's coming from the middle or back when going over bumps. What a pain in the ass this is BUT I love this truck b

the rasping might be a bent rotor shield rubbing the rotor. Another thing to look for is broken leafs in the rear springs allowing the leaf claps to rattle. 5 years now and I still have not replaced my springs over that crap. Really pathetic. for the thumping take some pressure off the front suspension but no all. rock the tire at top in and out of wheel for obvious bj damage.

Ok so one of the noises maybe two of them solved. The lower bushing on both sway bar links are gone. There's so much play its ridiculous. That's for sure the clanging noise and maybe the knocking. Still need to figure out the raspy noise but I'm guessing, thanks to another poster, that it's the heat shield rubbing on the rotor. I'll check that out this weekend as well as take off those old crappy links. I ordered some moogs but they won't come in till next week.
