Rattle in frontend and hearing air from brake pedal??

Strange problem really...

Driving the truck, at any speed when the wheel is turned the slightest bit either direction there is a rattle coming from the driver front suspension.
Does not do it driving straight...
I can clearly hear it, and slightly feel it in the floor AND steering wheel ever so slightly.
I cannot hear it nor feel it from the passenger side when my wife is driving.

I have been under the truck and went over everything, i tried to rattle, wobble, wiggle (you get the idea) everything.

Everything looks good except for a little rust on the shocks.
I am pretty mechanically incline and cannot find it.

Anyone had a similar problem?

Also my brake pedal has about a half inch of play in it left to right, it rattles pretty good on a bumpy rd.
Another brake pedal problem, every now and then when i crank the truck i hear air coming from the brake pedal under the dash at the firewall, if i pump it a few times it stops.
Also, with the truck running, if i use the upper side of of my foot and pull the brake pedal towards me it pops, and i hear air. i press it to the floor and it pops again and the air stops.

Kinda scratching my head a bit...

With the brakes, it sounds like you need a new vacuum booster. Possibly a new pedal mount or if it's possible bushings on the mount. As for the rattle, I'm stumped, but did you check the cv joint for play? Could also possibly be wheel bearings/ hub assembly.

my brake pedal rattles a bunch too, i was gonna go see if there is a way to tighten it up or something.

Its a bit of a project but it might be worth it to take the wheel bearings out and check those...
