Folks, been strongly considering regearing from the 3.42 to the 4.10s. I figured I would swap the g80 while I'm doing it. My questions are, how hard is this to do? Should I consider doing it myself?
As far as pricing, seems like I should be able to get parts for around $750? What should labor be? I had a guy quote me around $2500 for parts and labor and that seems about $1000 high to me. If that's what it's going to cost I may have to do it myself.
Edit: and also, how important is it that I swap the g80? I am not doing any serious four wheeling, but I do use the 4x4.
