My cover was $10 at autozone. It was chrome, so add some primer and semigloss paint and for under $20 I had a clean looking cover.

Hey all thanks for the input... Picked up a gasket from dealer ($10 if curious) drained and filled...
While I was in there I snapped a pic of the diff..
Is this a posi/limited slip??

I've had a Locker (lockright) and Spool in my 4Runner, so with these on the attached to/with the spiders - I assume some type of traction aid.. Or is this just how they look??

Inners all looked good - minimal shavings on the magnet - lil dust from rags and gasket in there, but all cleaned when done...

I was able to reuse cover - wire wheeled - checked for weak spots then a couple coats of primer/paint - pretty again... need to hit all the underside with some paint (specially before winter salt arrives)..... Thanks
