Readylift 2.25" leveling kit WITH Bilstein 5100s???

Hey Y'all

Was wondering if anyone has seen or has the Bilstein 5100 adjustible shocks (front and rear) with a 2" - 2.5" leveling kit.

Thinking about adding these as my rear shocks are shot and need to be replaced in my 2007 Yukon.

If you plan to run them at stock height then go for it, if you add more lift your uca will be sitting on or way too close to the droop stop and you will have extremely little to no downward suspension travel, You could cut the droop stop off but then you're front end parts will not be lasting too long. IMO the max front level on these trucks should be 2.5" if you anything more than that then seek other options.

FYI those are leveling struts and only for the front. The rear are shocks with extended travel and do not provide any lift.

I thought the downward travel issue was due to strut extension spacers or spring preload spacers, not with the Bilstein 5100s (seat perch type). This would be good info :Handshake:.

I believe he was originally asking if he could run both for additional lift. Using the Bilsteins all you are doing is compressing the spring more to attain the lift, it still moves the uca closer to the droop stop. A 1.5" top spacer vs. a 1.5" bottom spacer vs. Bilsteins set at 1.5" all change the suspension angles the same way.
