Realistic value for high mileage

Hi there! Long time lurker and recipient of a ton of knowledge, all owed to this forum. It has helped me get my 2000 Tahoe to 220k miles and my current 2005 Denali to 260k miles.

What is a realistic price on CL for my 2005 Yukon Denali with 260k miles and all 106 options? It has normal wear for the age but cosmetically 100%. A slight torque shudder at 50mph but otherwise great. I've got it listed for $2,500 but haven't gotten any real interest. Is it priced too high/low? Is COVID-19 scaring away buyers?

Would love to get some help so I can move onto my next GM full-size vehicle.

Sounds about right. I think your whole city is freaked out right now and not thinking much about buying trucks. The mayor and governor probably would arrest them for coming to look at it. In a week or so, that government money will be burning a hole in someone's pocket and they'll give you a ring to arrange a clandestine meeting, away from the prying eyes of the gubment! LOL

besides this whole virus thing has people scared to do things like buy anything besides all the paper products. ill just stick with the vehicle itself with normal worldly goings on. ive seen plenty of them with similar mileage listed in the same price range. ive also seen them priced closer to the 2k range with that mileage. your big hangup here is definitely going to be the mileage tho. alot of people will turn away from your truck purely because of its mileage so if your looking for a fast sale you will definitely want to make the price more appealing. if you want what the truck is legitimately worth your going to be sitting on it for a bit. now toss in the state of everything right now your definitely going to be sitting on it. there are plenty of people that just will not buy a vehicle thats over 200k regardless of the price tag.

Good point about the stimulus checks. I'm not in a rush (I'm literally not going anywhere) so I can hold out. TBH I wouldn't want to get into anything over 150k but I'm not very mechanically inclined. I was thinking someone might use it as a donor/parts car even though I have been driving it 500 mile round trip weekend trips. Just a shame I put brand new tires on it, but that doesn't seem to entice anyone given the mileage.

I think the price is good. The virus has everyone hunkered down and sales for vehicles have come to a very slow crawl. I just bought a 2005 Harley FatBoy 15th anniversary bike with less than 17k miles on it for $6500 that had a value of closer to $9k because of all the add ons on it. I got a deal because of the virus and the guy needed money to move to Texas.

I’d blame Coronavirus and I don’t know what your market was like before.
I bought my 03 Denali w 220k for 5500 in March of 19. Did most of my looking in the Kansas City area. I looked though pics of everything I could find in the area, looked in person at a bunch of lots, test drove a few that didn’t look too bad, but had more issues when I drove them. Stayed on the market for a couple months before getting mine, figuring the good ones get snatched up quick. Not that mines perfect at all, but at the time, everything cheaper was pretty rough. By the time any vehicle is 10yrs old condition is everything, so without a ton of pictures I think it’s harder to say
